Welcome & Settle In
Grab a coffee, meet Dano & Cher, and get comfortable. We keep groups small so everyone gets personal attention.
Safety & Tool Walkthrough
A quick overview of the tools, materials, and safety basics. No experience needed — we start from scratch.
The Real Work Begins
You'll work with real hides and materials. We guide you through every step — fleshing, stretching, tanning, or sewing depending on the workshop.
Rest & Refuel
Take a breather, ask questions, and share stories. Lunch is included in full-day workshops.
Complete Your Project
Finish your piece, learn care and maintenance tips, and take home something you made with your own hands.
What to Bring
- A willingness to get your hands dirty
- Closed-toe shoes (no sandals)
- Hair tie if you have long hair
- A water bottle
- Your curiosity and questions
All tools, materials, and aprons are provided. You don't need to bring anything special.
Dress Code
Wear clothes you don't mind getting stained. Tanning is messy, beautiful work.
Small Groups Only
We cap every workshop at 6–8 people so you get real, hands-on guidance — not a lecture.
No Experience Needed
Most attendees have never touched a hide before. We teach from the very beginning, patiently and thoroughly.
Take Home Your Work
Every workshop ends with a finished piece you made yourself — a hat, gloves, tanned hide, or more.

Learn the fundamentals of organic fur tanning in this hands‑on workshop. Perfect for beginners who want to understand the art of transforming raw hides into beautiful, lasting materials. You'll work with real pelts and learn proper fleshing, stretching, and tanning techniques.
Advanced Tanning Techniques
Take your tanning skills to the next level. This advanced course covers brain tanning, smoke finishing, and working with difficult hides. Prerequisites: Basic tanning experience required.
Fur Hat Making Workshop
Create your own custom fur hat from start to finish! Learn pattern cutting, sewing techniques, and finishing details. All materials included - you'll leave with a beautiful handmade fur hat.
Fur Gloves & Mittens Clinic
Master the art of crafting warm, beautiful fur gloves and mittens. Learn proper pattern sizing, fur selection, and professional finishing techniques. Take home your own pair!
